Moda started with a familiar frustration: you see a dress — on a friend, in a film, on a runway from 1962 — and there is no way to ask a shop for that. Search boxes want words. Style doesn't come in words.

So we built a stylist that looks. Show Moda a photo and it reads the garment the way a technical designer would — silhouette, neckline, hemline, sleeve, fabric, colour, and the era it echoes — then searches every retailer we index by those things at once. Describe an occasion instead and it does the same from your words: the season, your size, your budget, and what you'd rather avoid.

What we promise

• Exact when it exists, honest when it doesn't. We label matches as exact, close or similar, and we show the score.
• Live facts, not stale feeds. Price, sizes and delivery are re-checked with the retailer the moment you open a piece.
• Buy where you already shop. Moda never takes your payment. You buy on the retailer's site, with their returns and their customer care.

How we make money

When you buy through a Moda link, some retailers pay us a commission. It never changes the price you pay or the order in which we show results.
