Privacy policy
Last updated 2026. Plain language; the short version is that we keep as little as we can.
What we collect
Search photos. A photo you upload is used to run that search and is discarded afterwards. It is sent to a vision-model provider to read the garment; it is not used to train models and is not stored by us.
Search text. The words you type are used to run the search. Recent searches and saved pieces are stored in your browser only, until you create an account.
Contact and newsletter. If you write to us or subscribe, we keep your name, email and message to reply and to send what you asked for.
Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept for security and to keep the service running, for up to 30 days.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal data.
- We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
- We don't take payment — the retailer does, under their own policy.
Retailer links
Links to retailers may carry an affiliate tag so the retailer knows the visit came from Moda. The retailer's privacy policy applies once you're on their site.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing, by writing to privacy@moda.example. We answer within 30 days. Residents of the EU/UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and the CCPA, which we honour.
Cookies
Moda uses only strictly necessary storage: your browser's local storage for saved pieces and recent searches, and a session cookie for the admin area. No consent banner is needed because nothing optional is set.
Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced on the home page.
